**About the Role**:
YWCA Canberra School Age Care is looking for an innovative Program Manager to manage and lead a team of educators in one of our School Age Care Programs which includes Before, Afters and holiday care. This service is located in the inner north and is ideally situated near ANU, ACU and a short distance to UC. You will be leading a team of dedicated educators to ensure best practice is implemented at our School Age Care program.
Suitable applicants will need to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of the National Quality Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place Framework. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will also be necessary.
**About You**:
You will be a facilitator of continuous improvement, with knowledge of current best practice with the sector. You will be an engaged and enthusiastic leader. It is essential that you have the following:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education or actively working towards holding this qualification (minimum of halfway through)
- Have experience working within the Children’s Services Sector.
- Experience in mentoring and leading a team of educators.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders with demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A Working with Vulnerable People Card
- Current First Aid/Asthma Anaphylaxis training
- A current Australian Police Check.
