Join our dynamic team in the childcare sector as a Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations, from payroll processing to managing accounts payable. **What You’ll Do**:

- Payroll Processing_
- Assist with the timely and accurate processing of fortnightly payroll for all staff
- Ensure compliance with industry awards and employment agreements
- Address payroll enquiries and support new team members during onboarding
- Manage payroll accruals, superannuation, tax forms, and other documentation
- Collaborate with HR on salary adjustments and bonuses
- Stay informed of payroll legislation changes and ensure compliance with Fair Work Australia regulations
- Accounts Payable:_
- Process invoices and employee expense claims with accuracy and efficiency
- Verify, code, and approve invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile supplier statements and prepare payment runs

**Selection Criteria**
- Experience with accounting software and payroll systems
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- A proactive approach and commitment to team success

- Full-time position based in our support office (South Brisbane)
