**About the Role**:
This full time permanent role is based from our 990 La Trobe Street, Docklands office. Reporting to the Area Lead, Flood and Stormwater Partnerships, this is a pivotal role within the Service Partnerships team.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading engagement with local government, VicSES, and emergency agencies.
- Driving the development and implementation of innovative capacity building programs.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and support strategic flood initiatives.

We're looking for someone with:

- Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and program delivery.
- A strong understanding of flood management and stakeholder engagement.
- The ability to influence, negotiate, and lead innovative partnership projects.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated understanding of flooding issues, management approaches, and risk management. An understanding of human behaviour principles and an ability to negotiate, influence decisions and cause behavioural change.
- Awareness of the water industry and regulatory environment, Operating Charter, and Flood Management Strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, build, maintain and enhance business relationships, both internal and external, to achieve mutually agreed outcomes.
- A high degree of self-motivation, autonomy, resilience, adaptability and leadership.
- Demonstrated ability with Microsoft suite of products, databases and GIS Applications, or demonstrated ability to learn these skills quickly.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science or engineering or equivalent experience
- Ability to pass a Criminal Records Check
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License
