As a Verifications Officer at Swyftx, your role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to leave your mark on an industry-defining company. Your responsibilities will include aiding the Financial Crime Team in meeting regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to Swyftx's global compliance program, and improving processes to mitigate risks. You’ll be joining a friendly and high-performing team that pride themselves on the level of service that they provide for our customers.
**Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include**:
- Assist the Financial Crime Team with identifying and reporting suspicious matters
- Support the Financial Crime Team with quality-checking and completing Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requirements for new signups
- Assist the Financial Crime Team with customer due diligence of new customers and entities, including checks against PEP and sanction watchlists
- Support the Financial Crime Team in addressing compliance-related alerts generated through transaction monitoring
- Deliver exceptional customer support by providing excellent service through Swyftx's omnichannel platforms, building strong rapport with customers as a trusted advisor and accurately documenting all customer interactions in the CRM system
- Identify and report potential, perceived and actual security risks to the relevant security department
**To ensure success in this role, you should possess**:
- Prior experience in a similar role or a professional customer service environment
- An understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for Australia
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in note taking
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely to users with varying levels of expertise
- An adaptable mindset, that allows you to thrive in a fast-paced environment
