Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. This is a full time maternity leave cover and will suit a self starting and highly organised individual. You will mostly be working from home but required to attend meetings at Sydney CBD at least once a week.
**Core duties and key responsibilities are**:
- Team enablement - Empower and enable the team to do their work effectively, providing clear and regular communication and feedback;
- Manage processes to run the office operations;
- Manage staff objectives / salaries / roles;
- Employee and Client on-boarding;
- Manage travel, events and calendars;
- Resource planning / budgeting;
- Preparation/review of client contracts/Statements of Work;
- Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures;
- Manage Invoicing and Timesheeting;
- Monitoring of billings, staff productivity and WIP - highlighting issues and concerns including project allocation;
- Maintaining project costing templates;
- Reconcile projects to ensure all budgets and invoicing is completed on monthly basis;
- Assistance with Marketing tasks;
- Maintaining company budgets with respect to the consulting staff;
- Responsible for constant improvement in processes to improve efficiencies, quality and client service;
- Managing project sub-contractors and project disbursements;
- Ensure that the team receives adequate training to ensure processes are followed and systems are used as intended.
- Proven experience in running business activities and projects;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles;
- Be familiar with Xero accounting software
