**About the role**:
Primary focus is that of Orange Cloud for Business (OCB) pre-sales solution, supporting the local sales and business development team in winning deals, and upon winning the deal, hand hold the deal into service delivery and management within Asia-Pacific with a specific sub-region geographic focus.
Orange Cloud for Business within Orange Business Services comprise services and solutions related to Cloud, Data Center, Backup, DR and IT infrastructure optimization and consolidation including server, storage management, Backup, DR and remote outsourced infrastructure management
**Job Description**:
Will also be responsible for shortening the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles and coming up with innovative solutions that address the customer requirements. Drive sales with technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability and a superior customer focus. You must be able to present the OCB platform architecture, as well as identify key business values. The OCB Regional Solution Architect key accountabilities are as follows:
Pre-sales solution and designOwnership of the technical design and responses of the RFPWork function is inclusive of creating business value by taking ownerships of overall solution design implementation whilst accommodating internal/external constraints and adapting to changes.Working within the established Service Transition ExCID* (Excellence in Customer IT Delivery) methodology, to deliver.
**Responsibilities**:
Present Orange Cloud for Business (OCB) vision and technologies, strategy, and product roadmaps to executives, technical management and technical engineersDevelops and delivers clear, concise, coordinated presentations, executive facing documentation and advice to customers on complex environments based on input from customers, Sales, DC, virtualization and cloud consulting, Professional Services, R&D, Marketing and own personal experiencesProvide expert technical and business pre-sales support for OCB products and services.Support pre-sales POCs and pilots at customer sites either remotely or on site.Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of DC/Cloud industry directions and trendsAble to hand hold the deal from pre-sales into build, map the SOW and high level design during the pre-sales stage into the required detailed implementation SOW and configuration design, effectively transitioning the deal into build mode jointly with the Project Management team after a deal is won
**Requirements**:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, including architecture design/implementation experience with multiple compute, storage, networking and virtualization technologies.Will hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and be fluent in spoken and written English (business level).Ability to work closely with customers and deal with them in a professional mannerExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to produce clear and detailed pre-slaes and technical documentation.Previous experience with a Systems Integrator or Consulting organization would be preferred.Technical experience in the following products:
VMWare vSphere (preferably VCP certified)Cisco LAN & IP Routing (preferably CCNA certified)Microsoft Technologies (preferably MCSE certified)Enterprise Storage Technologies (experience with NetApp and/or EMC)Server Technologies (experience with HP, Dell, Cisco UCS)
OCB Pre-Sales Support
- Work with account teams & OCB BDM’s to assist in developing service strategies for the respective market sectors and countries.
- Support OCB BDM’s & account teams in the development of key opportunities by: (a) helping to qualify & scope Orange Cloud for Business service opportunities, (b) Lead creation of Orange Cloud for Business solutions with the express intent of moving opportunites from suspect to qualified pipeline opportunites. (c) Lead creation of an appropriate solutions for identified opportunites by engaging customer solutions, using available tools to provide costing & pricing information for solutions.
- Proactively drive innovation and value-creation for the customer by developing strategic and tactical vendor partnerships and alliances to further strengthen our competitive positioning.
- Identify and manage third parties within proposed solutions; position Orange as the solution integrator.
Service (Technical) Design Accountability
- Working directly with OCB central Engineering, he/she will contribute to the elaboration and validation of the customer solution during the presales’ phase
- Directly lead the creation and documentation of the high-level architecture and low-level solution design (post-sales delivery).
