Leading client in Canberra is looking for a Test Manager on a 12 months non - on going contract + possible extension

We are looking for one (1)
**non-ongoing **EL1 staff for the role of
- Data Aquisition (DA)
- Accounting Software Project (ASP)
- Big Data Timely Insights (BDTI)
- TSD Census

Please note that in addition to the salary, the role includes holiday pay, sick pay, 15.4% contribution to superannuation.

**Responsibilities ;**
- As an EL1 Test Manager, your responsibilities will include the following;
- Effective leadership, with the ability to work, report and lead in an environment of ambiguity and change.
- Ability to create and implement overarching test strategies for projects/programs, covering the entire testing lifecycle, and including different aspects of functional and non-functional testing.
- Creation of test plans according to project methodology (waterfall, agile, hybrid) and according to the objective of the project.
- Preparation of testing estimates, including identifying resource requirements, to inform project planning and allocation of personnel.
- Experience working collaboratively with the testing community of practice to establish best practice methods and techniques, and consult on selection of testing products and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and engage effectively with various stakeholders.

**Skills / Knowledge ;**

To be suitable as an EL1 Test Manager, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

- ISTQB Test Manager qualified
- Good number of years as a Test Manager.
- ~ 2 years track record in managing high performing test teams
- Strong hands on experience is essential.
- Demonstrated risk management knowledge.
- Experience across data pipeline, web, api, mobile & cloud (AWS or Azure) solution testing.
- Experience in Agile methodology and environments.
- Advanced verbal and written communication.
- Expert stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for world class test delivery.
- Baseline clearance at the minimum or ability to secure one.
- Prior Government experience would be beneficial.
