About the role

The purpose of the
_Project Controls Coordinator_ is to assist and support the development and implementation of a project management framework to ensure our Site Transition projects are delivered safely and within the agreed scope, schedule, and budget. The role will provide support services to site teams including planning, scheduling, progress measurement systems, and reporting.

This role will sit within the Site Transition business unit. This team is to plan, facilitate and execute the safe and responsible closure, decommissioning, demolition, and rehabilitation of AGL’s portfolio of assets.

What you will do- Develop and maintain the project baseline schedule in Primavera P6 & MS- Project.- Coordinate regular status updates provided by all stakeholders and incorporate status into weekly and monthly reports.- Create reports to highlight key areas such as schedule and cost performance, estimates at completion, and schedule risk.- Assist site teams in planning and analysing project cost and schedule performance.- Provide progress reports in accordance with the reporting calendar, including resource histograms, progress scurves and variance analysis.- Assist and support the development and implementation of the project management framework in accordance with PMI & latest PMBOK.

What you will need- Tertiary qualifications in project management or an engineering discipline or other disciplines relevant to the delivery of major projects and programs OR- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role- Experience or desire to work in Project Controls within a project delivery environment, along with prior knowledge in Primavera P6 and/or MS-Project will be highly desirable.

What you have- A competent and professional approach- Effective communication and relationship management with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.- Ability to think laterally and creatively to solve complex problems in conjunction with a broader team.- Competent user of MS Office.- Competent user of Primavera P6, MS-Project & SAP.
