This is a career defining assignment for a Strategic Product Lead to take the reins and create the high-level strategic plan for the near and long-term state of the product roadmap.

The initial, short-term project requires a visionary who can quickly summarise a massive opportunity and create an alignment strategy for various streams to achieve the outcome.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- True product thinking: do the research to understand, communicate and facilitate alignment for the future state of a large-scale e-commerce Product - and drive that alignment.
- Strategy at speed: Using your relationship and facilitation skills to quickly create the aligned outcome.
- Build once, ship twice: Creating the re-platforming strategy for two brands moving on to one platform
- Summarise the cohorts, their needs, the current, near and future states, and the roadmap across various streams in order to achieve the outcome.
- Holding workshops and discovery sessions to get clarity, alignment and enhanced communication
- Aligning people to the goal and direction of your proposed strategy
- Leading product discovery, creating a product vision and contributing to the overall product roadmap that delivers organisation-wide goals and objectives in the relevant domains.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing and data analytics to ensure transparency and buy-in.
- Work from home (WFH) / and WFO in Melbourne CBD & Mulgrave

**What you’ll bring to the assignment**:

- Significant experience as a Senior Product Manager / Lead / Owner with strategic planning responsibilities
- A basic understanding of re-platforming
- Extensive experience in developing product roadmaps that are informed by robust customer and market analysis
- Experience in multi-brand and/or large scale retail / eCommerce environments
- Exceptional planning, communication, presentation, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Ability to lead change, representing end users’ interests whilst influencing/motivating others effectively.
- Demonstrated capability to think strategically and understand business dynamics.
