**How will I Help?**
Financial Markets & Treasury Operations forms part of WIB Operations under Group Operations within the Customer Services & Technology Division. WIB Operations supports the Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB), and we pride ourselves on being a business unit that is equipped to meet the ever-changing needs of the market, while remaining committed to our different customers, stakeholders, and products.

Financial Markets & Treasury Operation which sits within WIB Operations is managed through its Central Hub in Sydney utilising a 24 hour follow the sun model. The team manage Global FX, Derivative and Security settlements along with Treasury processing and Client On-boarding functions. Corporate Lending Operations which also sits within WIB Operations is responsible for the processing and settlement of Bilateral and Syndicated loan transactions, including Bank Guarantees, Asset Finance and Securitisation.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for daily reconciliation of the Group’s stock and Nostro cash accounts as well as internal control reporting and settle compensation claims which may arise through trading activity and investigation of reconciliation breaks.

The key focus of this role is to create and maintain a business unit that is focussed on increasing customer satisfaction, developing a high performing and skilled workforce and cost-efficient business practices. The role operates in accordance with Compliance & Privacy requirements and focuses on effective operational risk management.

**What do I need?**
**Knowledge and Expertise required**
- Minimum 3 years industry experience with at least 1 year in an equivalent Management role
- Product knowledge advantageous (Asset Finance and Structured Finance)
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Confident and articulate communicator
- Demonstrated process and change management skills
- Energetic and motivated, able to work well inside a group and broadly across the organisation
