We pride ourselves in having qualified and trained casual workforce in the Community Services industry, primarily in Youth Justice and Residential Care throughout Victoria.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking _passionate_, _experienced _and _qualified _Residential Youth Workers.

These are casual shifts, with a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon and night shifts during the week and weekends. Perfect work life balance to suit you, your family and lifestyle.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, in this role you will be responsible for the wellbeing and health, emotional and physical day-to-day care for the Children and Young People in residential care.

**The Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Actively promote the rights of Children and Young People as individuals and provide them with quality care.
- Act in accordance to the State and Federal Laws governing Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection).
- Adhere and comply with the general policies and procedures of EPS and the client organisation.
- To promote, safeguard and protect the welfare of each young person.
- Encourage and support the Young People to develop their full educational and vocational attainment.

**About you**:Hold a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential & OOHC) OR A Recognised Relevant Qualification and completed the **Mandatory Trauma Units (Top Up Skills Course) **or intention to enrol**
- Proven experience working with young people in a residential care environment
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

**Salary**: $37.00 - $80.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

**Experience**:

- Residential Care Worker: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Cert IV Disability (preferred)
- Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention (preferred)
- Cert IV/Diploma Community Services OR Youth Justice (preferred)
- Drivers Licence (Strictly P2 & Above) (required)
- Employed Working With Children Check (required)
- First Aid and CPR Level 2 (required)
- International Police Check (required)
- Mandatory Top up units (required)
- National Police Check (required)
