**About the role
Provide leadership and direction in the planning and implementation of apprenticeship throughout Metro North Health Building and Engineering Maintenance Services, ensuring that the outcomes are aligned to, and supportive of, the department's agenda for improvement in obligations and commitments.
Actively engage with our workforce with the opportunity to reflect the greater communities we serve, by making positive contributions to equity, diversity and inclusion with-in the Building and Engineering Maintenance Services
Act as a custodian to all apprentices throughout Metro North Health during their apprenticeship and actively demonstrate this by ensuring they are of a value and our commitment to them.
About you
Extensive knowledge of contemporary best practice training initiatives relevant to apprenticeships and traineeships, including relevant acts, regulations and codes.
High level of planning, coordination and organisational skills with regards to the overseeing of skills competence attainment and apprentice and trainee progression.
High level of interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
Substantial level of analytical, process development (implementing, completion, coordination), problem solving and decision-making skills.
Substantial level of coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
