Program Coordinator

**As Programs Coordinator, you will specifically**:
- Provide supervision to staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and activities to young people, in accordance with relevant legislative provisions, statutory delegations, departmental policies, procedures and contemporary best practice.
- Deliver/source training to staff on group facilitation skills and the delivery of a range of programs.
- Co-facilitate and support the delivery of programs at the youth detention centre.
- Maintain knowledge of contemporary trends, practices, funding initiatives and service delivery options to ensure the delivery of best practice youth detention programs and services.
- Liaise and collaborate with key stakeholders to promote effective coordination, integration and delivery of high-quality programs and activities for young people in youth detention.
- Participate as a member of the West Moreton Youth Detention Centre management team and contribute to strategic and operational planning, reviews and key decision-making.
- Establish and maintain recording and reporting systems to ensure efficient and accountable management and delivery of youth detention programs.
- Ensure regular audits of Workplace Health and Safety issues in relation to provision of services from agencies.
