Melbourne, Australia Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Full time

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate allied health professional to join our Forensic Disability Clinical Services' Bundoora and Glaser Clinic team as **Clinician**. This role is primarily based at our Bundoora site and focuses on providing comprehensive forensic risk assessment and treatment to clients with intellectual disability within a residential treatment facility, while also extending support to facilitate clients' transition back to the community. You will work closely with a passionate team of clinicians, psychoeducational trainers, disability support workers, and other staff from Forensic Disability Services to help clients achieve the best possible outcomes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with clients with dual disabilities (mental health and cognitive disabilities) at the Glaser Clinic, which is a community forensic disability mental health service. This one-year fixed-term position is available due to an internal promotion.

As a clinician, you will conduct risk assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and offer both individual and group-based programs. Collaboration is essential, and you will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to care. You will also be responsible for preparing clinical reports and progress updates to inform stakeholders and enhance service delivery.

We seek professionals who possess strong values, a commitment to integrity, and a passion for making a positive impact. If you are an occupational therapist, speech pathologist, psychologist, social worker, or an experienced allied health professional, this role provides a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the lives of those in need while ensuring the safety of our community. Staff at Forensic Disability Clinical Services have access to ongoing training opportunities, an individual professional development budget, regular supervision (including support for completing the psychology registrar program), and opportunities for cross-team collaboration.

**HOW TO APPLY**

Applicants are required to submit a CV and Cover Letter (max 2 pages) outlining their suitability to the role in line with the Key Selection Criteria.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
