One of Australia’s** Federal Government Departments** is looking to engage a skilled and experienced** Windows Administrator/ M365 Specialist** to work closely with the Enterprise Architecture and Tech teams to support the foundational work to streamline processes and enhance productivity within the department. The successful** Windows Administrator/ M365 Specialist** will secure an initial **6-month contract **with** extension options** and a **rewarding hourly rate and flexible work arrangements**

The successful** Windows Administrator/ M365 Specialist **will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Conducting audits of existing content and proactively decommissioning redundant or outdated sites, ensuring the optimisation and relevance of information across the M365 environment.
- Establishing standardised practices for M365 resources, encompassing Groups, Teams, and Sites, to promote consistency, collaboration, and seamless integration within the department.
- Taking responsibility for the maintenance and management of third-party tools, such as PnP Webparts, within the M365 ecosystem, ensuring their smooth operation, compatibility, and adherence to security standards, thereby enhancing the overall functionality and staff experience.
- Providing comprehensive assistance with level 2 end user support, promptly addressing and resolving technical issues and inquiries related to the M365 ecosystem, ensuring a seamless user experience and maximising productivity for all stakeholders.

The successful** Windows Administrator/ M365 Specialist **will have experience in the following:

- Solid experience in a Windows Administrator role or experience as an M365 SME
- Prior experience conducting audits of content and decommissioning redundant or outdated sites to ensure optimisation and relevance of information across an M365 environment.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including experience collaborating with stakeholders, architects, and tech teams.
- Provide comprehensive assistance with level 2 end user support, promptly addressing and resolving technical issues and inquiries related to the M365.
- Deliver valuable input in licensing decisions, documenting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SLA performance, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources and meeting or exceeding staff expectations within the M365 environment.
