**Your new company**
A National IT Service Provider requires an Infrastructure Modernisation Consultant to join its Professional Services team for a permanent role commencing immediately, to be based in Melbourne. The company promotes a collaborative and supportive work environment, offering exposure to leading technologies and flexible work arrangements.

**Your new role**
Within this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:

- Designing, implementing and documenting complex Virtualisation, Storage and Backup solutions.
- Assisting in the preparation of sales proposals.
- Providing input into High Level and Detailed Designs.
- Developing project plans and milestones around the deployment of cloud and infrastructure solutions in conjunction with Project Managers.
- Providing sound advice, consultancy and thought leadership to customers.
- Designing and developing high quality business solutions and other projects.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing virtualisation, storage, backup and server solutions.
- Knowledge of the Professional services and Infrastructure project requirements.
- Strong experience with VMware / Hyper-V, Dell / HP / NetApp / IBM storage, Commvault / Veeam / NetBackup, Windows Server, Active Directory and Exchange.
- A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, Microsoft, EMC, HPE, NetApp, Nutanix, Commvault and Veeam certifications are beneficial.
- Proven experience working within a Managed Service Provider or Consultancy is highly beneficial.
- Current driver’s license and access to a car.
- Australian Citizenship.
