We’re looking for a senior Splunk engineer to join our professional services team in our Sydney office.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Interact with end users and managers to gather requirements/understand problems
- Provide detailed investigation process of Splunk alerts
- Construct Splunk search queries
- Create, Edit, Maintain and Troubleshoot Splunk dashboard according to client requirements
- Provide support to customers for their Splunk Implementations
- Maintain knowledge bases, documentation and processes
- Work directly with clients to gather requirements and understand monitoring systems and business requirements
- Splunk data onboarding
- Communicate with key stakeholders on infrastructure, deployment details, etc.
- Linux and Windows administration
- Working on-site with customers or imbedded in customer teams

**Skills, experience and attitudes**
- Splunk enterprise cluster experience
- Working technical knowledge of Splunk
- Working technical knowledge of Linux/Windows
- Demonstrable experience in developing solutions in Splunk using both default modules and customized scripting to enhance capabilities
- Experience designing and operating enterprise monitoring and event management tools
- Practical experience with design, review, implementation and support of the Splunk product/solution for new and existing modules
- Workflow Configuration and Orchestration Experience
- Understanding of IT Service Management ITSM / Enterprise Service Management and relevant technical principles

- Integration Experience including REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, JDBC/SQL, FTP/File Transfer
- Database Management experience including Data modelling/ER diagrams and understanding of Object Oriented Databases

**Salary**: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
