The Role
This role is challenged with delivering innovative ideas and solutions that derive measurable results. This is a critical and visible role as it involves support for several of Proofpoint’s top accounts. The Consultant must be confident in working with technical resources, analysts, project sponsors, and executive levels to provide excellent service delivery and communication which includes product deliverables, conducting conference calls/meetings, consulting process reviews/workshops, and briefings. The position requires the ability to work with non-technical managers and executives to develop technical and business requirements for their company’s custom data security program.

Your day-to-day- Thoroughly scope engagements through assessing the client’s operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations for improvements to optimize Proofpoint technologies.- Provide solutions that allow clients to identify, protect, monitor, and manage their most protected data, and people.- Work with the broader Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations.- Work closely with your corresponding sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and customer satisfaction continues to rank high.- Present updates to management identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions.
What you bring to the team- Minimum of 3 years consulting experience (Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security or Cloud Security focus preferred)- Preferred experience with Windows Server + web infrastructure (IIS, MS SQL)- Preferred experience with Linux infrastructure- Preferred background with Microsoft or Symantec DLP Must be able to clearly write and explain concepts in documentation and deliverables Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining consulting best practices- Dedication to client service with a confident, comfortable in-person and virtual presence- Demonstrated organizational skills with rigorous attention to detail Self-motivated with ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously
