We are currently seeking a Care Manager to join our team located at our Riddell Gardens Aged Care home. Our Home is nestled in and around a natural setting abundant with flora and fauna, Riddell Gardens in Sunbury has an atmosphere of traditional country charm.

You are the Clinical Leader in the home and Resident Advocate for making every day the best it can be. You oversee the quality of clinical and care service delivery through the Clinicians and Carers for every resident to achieve their optimum level of health (physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual). You lead the running of the home in the General Manager’s absence.

Family and friends are an integral part of our home’s special community and are actively encouraged to participate in activities, events and celebrations or drop in for lunch or dinner. Dining is a special time for residents with nutritious and tasty meals prepared daily by the head chef and the hospitality team. These are just some of life’s pleasures which we strongly promote to support our lifestyle philosophy in making every day the best it can be for our residents.

The successful applicant must have:

- Current Division 1 Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Experience in aged care clinical management
- Strong leadership capability
- ACFI experience desirable
- A passion for aged care - flexible and empathetic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building, managing, and training people at all levels
- Knowledge of accreditation standards
- Excellent clinical skills
- Strong attention to details with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Right to work in Australia
