**The Role**:
You’ll take on a variety of grounds maintenance projects — from start to finish — helping transform outdoor spaces and creating results you can be proud of.
- Manage grounds maintenance tasks using associated plant and equipment, including brush cutting, hedging, blowing, weeding, mowers.
- Operate various mowing equipment, blowers and brush cutters safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all equipment is regularly maintained and in safe working order.
- Work collaboratively with other team members or independently to meet project deadlines.
- Manage waste disposal and ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy

**Duties**
- Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, sod laying, and hardscape construction such as patios and walkways.
- Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, aerating, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy.
- Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers, saws) safely and efficiently to complete various landscaping tasks.
- Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, performing tree trimming, and providing general horticultural care.
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas.
- Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of hardscape elements including retaining walls, patios, and pathways using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Support equipment maintenance by inspecting machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with heavy machinery or during construction activities.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

**Experience**
- Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or construction is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating power tools and maintaining equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with horticulture practices including gardening techniques, tree care, and plant health is a plus
