What You’ll Be Doing:

- Joining a great quality smaller team on garden maintenance and landscaping jobs
- Organise daily tasks and ensure high-quality results
- Carry out hands-on gardening, mowing, pruning, planting, and mulching
- Promote safe work practices and team efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience in garden maintenance or landscaping
- Reliable, organised, and proactive attitude
- Current driver’s licence (experience towing a trailer a bonus)
- White Card and horticulture qualifications (advantageous, not essential)

**Duties**
- Develop and implement planting plans that enhance aesthetic appeal and ecological balance across various landscapes.
- Maintain and care for lawns, gardens, greenhouses, and outdoor plantings using appropriate gardening techniques.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to prune, trim, mow, plant, and perform general landscape maintenance.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules that promote healthy plant growth.
- Oversee greenhouse environments to control temperature, humidity, and lighting for optimal plant development.
- Assist with farming activities such as soil preparation, planting crops or ornamental plants, and harvesting when applicable.
- Collaborate with landscape architects or project managers to design sustainable outdoor spaces aligned with client specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of planting schedules, maintenance activities, and environmental conditions for ongoing improvement.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed when handling tools or working in potentially hazardous environments.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in horticulture, gardening, landscaping, or related fields such as farming or agriculture.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and greenhouse operations is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools (e.g., pruners, shovels) and power tools (e.g., trimmers, mowers) safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of plant biology, soil science, pest management, and sustainable horticultural practices.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping and project planning.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the scope of projects.
