**Accounts Officer - BTP Group**

We are seeking an **Accounts Officer **with** Accounts Payable and Receivable** experience to join our Finance Department at BTP Hazelmere. This is an integral role that will see you support the function and contribute to the team’s overall success.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Officer and Transaction Services the successful person will be a self-driven and self-motivated individual constantly aspiring to achieve the best outcomes for their department.

**Your Skill**
- A formal qualification in Cert IV Accounting & Bookkeeping or relevant qualification will be highly regarded.
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Able to use financial management software and reporting tools.
- Thorough understanding of accounts payable processes including double-entry accounting, reconciliations, and reporting
- Pronto and Coupa experience preferred.
- High volume transactions and mining industry experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of Ariba and customer portals preferred.
- High attention to detail
- Proactive, highly motivated person with Strong communication and team working skills and a high level of time management.
- Computer literate with MS Office 365 Word, Advanced MS Excel.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Credit control including Administration of customer accounts and credit limits. Sales order releases, Credit checks and recommending outcomes.
- Liaise with customers plus manage and build key relationships.
- Collection of debts, Credit and Receipting of debtor payments into ERP
- Entering invoices & credit notes and Reconciling debtor accounts
- Running cash management, payments & receipting
- End to end accounts payable, Intercompany processing and Month End Reconciliations
- Resolving internal / external queries
- Supporting the business to improve billing and collection cycles.
- Manage and review of Personal Property Security (PPS) Policy
- Other duties as required.
