As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Trade Assistant to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our modular building factory.

**Your new role**

As a Trade Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the production and assembly of modular buildings in our factory. You will work closely with the production team, assisting in various trade-related tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the timely delivery of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to gain hands-on experience in the modular building industry.
- Assist the production team in the assembly and construction of modular buildings.
- Prepare and organise materials, tools, and equipment required for production.
- Perform general trade-related tasks, including cutting, drilling, and assembly of building components.
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and project deadlines.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment as needed.
- Provide assistance in shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading of materials.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role or construction-related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction tools, equipment, and materials.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and practices.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
