**ROLE - Studio Manager**
Èlan has an exciting opportunity for the right individual to lead our Perth Studio. The Studio Manager will be working directly with the studio Director to organise and coordinate effective studio operations.

You will be reporting to the Director and will assist in various tasks such as, but not limited to:
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Drive membership sales and achieve weekly and monthly targets
- Interviewing and hiring new Instructors and administration staff
- Provide exceptional customer service, retention and build a loyal client base
- Execute marketing initiatives through social platforms like Facebook/Instagram/TikTok to increase the studios exposure
- Website updates
- Managing class and event bookings
- Ability to manage and lead dance teachers and administration staff
- Manage rosters and studio culture.
- Errands requiring travel around Perth
- Build a community based culture and promote the studio and brand within the local community

The role is client-facing, responding directly to all client and public inquiries and coordinating responses.
- Have a Certificate IV in business management or higher.
- Significant previous experience in a similar role (minimum 3 years) or be able to demonstrate how their current skills can be transferred to this role
- Confident and autonomous; able to hit the ground running and with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and actively manage client accounts;
- Develop, improve and implement office policies and procedures
- Take full responsibility for engaging with our members, including existing members and staff;
- Maintain a consistent and high standard of presentation of self and the studio
- Promote and implement The Elan Experience
- Promote and implement all Elan Events and Classes
- Maintain an active presence on social media, and actively contribute to Elan's members' page and whatsapp groups
- Engage with the local community to drive awareness and develop partnerships with local businesses.
- Be extremely passionate about influencing people's lives for the better. Be it mentally, emotionally and/or physically, the Elan brand and changing the lives of members at all fitness levels and ages,
- Excellent organisational & time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends;
- Ability to sell memberships via the phone and in person;
- Highly energetic, enthusiastic and supportive attitude towards members and staff;
- Always willing to go the extra mile, and keen to learn new skills and develop yourself
- Initiative and have the ability to follow up outstanding issues.
- Collaborative team management experience
- Experience of extensive diary and travel management
- In consultation with the Director, compose and coordinate proposals and quotations and invoices in response to client briefs
- Ability to manage changing priorities
- Ability to complete deadlines at short notice
- Team player with a collaborative work approach
- Proactive problem solver with a friendly, positive attitude to work
- Open minded and able to adjust to changing circumstances
- Able to work independently and efficiently within set guidelines
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and attention to detail
- Proactively contribute within the team and independently, in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Have their own car

**Salary** is commensurate with experience; with approximately 20 - 30 hours per week initially on a 6 months contract with the potential to work up to a full time role.

**Job Type**: Fixed term

**Salary**: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
