**The Role**
Airborne Surveillance Control and Intelligence Systems Program Office (ASCISPO), located at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW and RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA, performs sustainment and major capability upgrades for the Air Force's fleet of E-7A Wedgetail and MC-55A Peregrine systems.

The Security Advisor is a key member of the Security Team and is responsible under limited direction to achieve quality outcomes and support the delivery of complex information and physical security work within an integrated workforce. They are required to have the ability to develop and maintain an understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.

They will be required to confidently present information and build positive relationships with stakeholders to:

- Support the development developing and maintaining of security policies, plans and procedures in line with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) for review and publication.
- Support the regulations, monitoring and reporting on ASCISPO’s security, conduct security threat and risk assessments, and promote security awareness.
- Support the management of security incidents and conduct, facilitate or assist in investigations.

As the ASCISPO Security Advisor you will find yourself working in one of Australia's premier tourist destinations, the Hunter Valley. With idyllic surf beaches in Port Stephens and Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter wine region, hiking trails and the Barrington Tops National Park, all within a couple of hours of the RAAF Base Williamtown.
