**The details**

Here at our **Ferntree Gully** head office depot we are looking to welcome a positive, energetic team leader to our fun and welcoming afternoon Production Team.

**Working 5 x 6-8 hour shifts** per week, the **Sunday to Thursday** roster operates from **1.00pm Sunday to finish**, and **2.00pm Monday to Thursday**.

You have a strong understanding of **food production and correct food handling procedures**, and the experience and ability to **successfully lead and mentor the team** of 4-6 pickers during the shift.

Please note payrate listed is for an adult 21+ years old and will be less for younger applicants.

**The role requirements**

To be successful in the role, you can offer the following;
- **Safety first** - we are all responsible
- **Team leader/Supervisor experience** in a food manufacturing setting to lead, organise and support our team of 4-6 pickers
- Complete start of day administration - preparing checklists and paperwork needed for the shift
- Organise and set up **cool room** - you will be working in the cool room environment
- **Picking and packing** according to orders
- **Train new staff** on the picking process
- Competently (and without assistance) lift 10-20kg regularly
- Physically capable of bending, lifting, twisting, stretching and reaching forward frequently, without discomfort
- Perform repetitive work while adhering to quality and safety standards
- **Reliable and punctual commitment** to the opportunity
- You are a strong **team player**with a '**can do**' attitude
- **Great communication** skills at all levels and comfortable with numbers and computers

Pay: Up to $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week
