Long, term clients are looking to extend their facilities team at multiple locations

**Your new company**

Our client is a highly regarded Facilities Management services provider with operations locally and nationally. They are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to work in their fast-paced environment of distribution centres based out of Brisbane.

**Your new role**
- Ensure all facilities programs including reactive and preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements are executed timely and within quality requirements.
- Manage the site facilities including cleaning, security, contractor management, self-delivery staff and waste management, and ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Manage the annual facilities budget, identifying and prioritising the required funds to support the required service.
- Contractor selection, engagement, negotiation and reviews in conjunction with internal and external procurement teams
- Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies in the development, implementation and review of safety standards and procedures including Audits.
- Ensure OH&S requirements are met and adhered to at all times.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualification in Facilities / Property Management, ideally underpinned by a tertiary qualification in Electrical or Reliability Engineering
- Ideally, have a track record as a facilities manager in a Distribution Centre (DC) or in a fast-paced environment
- Be a proven strategic facilities management approach while building and maintaining strong working relationships
- Asset management knowledge and experience
- A performance history in leading and motivating a local and national based contractor and technician network
- Experience with budget responsibility and budget management including CAPEX/OPEX
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
