Hygiene Manager

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a Hygiene Manager to join our dynamic team based in Mernda, Victoria. Reporting to the State Manager of Victoria. In this position you will ensure all scheduled cleaning tasks are carried out according to HACCP, audit and quality standards every day.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Ensure all quality, safety, audit, and HACCP requirements are met
- Responsible for identifying and lead continuous improvement projects driving efficiencies, cost savings and quality improvements into the hygiene program.
- Accountable for the site’s compliance from a hygiene perspective to all relevant legislation, certification, and customer codes of practice, participating in the internal and external audit program
- Responsible for the management of the Hygiene team across the facilities ensuring appropriate resource, training and performance monitoring is in place to uphold the site’s hygiene program, developing a multiskilled workforce which can support the site plans and ambitions.
- Work in close collaboration with the site leadership and planning teams to ensure that adequate consideration for cleaning processes is measured during the planning cycles.
- Participate in learning and development initiatives.

**About you**:

- Degree level qualification in a Food or Science related discipline.
- A minimum 2-year experience as a Hygiene Manager or equivalent within a FMCG environment.
- Intermediate HACCP, Intermediate Food Hygiene qualified.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Motivated, collaborative, and proactive team player
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
