**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are searching for the best talent for a **Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) Associate** to join our MedTech business in Australia.

As the **HEMA Associate**,** you will be working with high performing multi-disciplinary teams, to identify, develop, and achieve funding and reimbursement for key product portfolios across the Johnson & Johnson MedTech franchises.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Health Economics & Market Access**
- Identify, develop, and achieve funding and reimbursement success related to key product portfolios across the Johnson & Johnson MedTech (JJMT) franchises.
- Provide clear and accurate written and verbal communication of JJMT market access processes and respective government deadlines specific to aligned projects.
- Execute on maintaining product/billing code listings on the PL in collaboration with marketing and regulatory affairs teams.
- Develop and disseminate health economic tools to support business projects aligned to key technologies.
- Support RWE analysis across the spectrum of available data specific to medical devices and ANZ healthcare systems, namely AIHW, state based procedural datasets and local health district data.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Act as an ambassador for HEMA within the local business but also with global and regional HEMA teams.
- Work closely with regulatory affairs, medical/clinical affairs, marketing, strategic customer group, government affairs & policy, and other key internal JJMT teams in the creation, alignment and implementation of strategic market access information and data generation plans/activities for new technologies.

**Qualifications - External**

**IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU**
- ** Education**: Tertiary Education in Business, Health, or Science-related disciplines - Health Economics, Medical/Science/Allied Health, or Biomedical Engineering Degrees
- ** Experience**:

- At least 2 years’ experience in the healthcare sector, medical devices, pharmaceutical, Health insurance, consultancy, research, or academia (or equivalent)
- ** Market Access specific knowledge (highly regarded)**
- Understanding of pricing and reimbursement processes within Australia and New Zealand’s policy environment
- Demonstrated understanding of reimbursement/funding processes and submissions (for example, MDHTAC, MSAC, PBAC)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Project management experience
