**Job Title**: Care Worker / Assistant (Part-Time)

**Hours**: 3-4 times a week, 3-4 hours per day

**Pay**: $35 per hour

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Worker / Assistant to support an individual in recovery following a hospital stay. The role involves providing assistance with basic daily tasks to help create a calm and organized environment conducive to healing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Meal preparation, including cooking and juicing.
- Light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and washing clothes.
- Grocery shopping and carrying items into the house.
- Placing and managing online orders.
- Conducting research on medical devices and related needs.
- Providing transportation to local appointments and errands.
- Offering thoughtful and sensitive support tailored to recovery needs.

**About You**:

- Previous experience as a support worker or care assistant is essential.
- A compassionate, caring, and thoughtful demeanor.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to the unique needs of someone in recovery from illness.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a calm and supportive environment.
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (if applicable).
