Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for experienced (6 months +) Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis. Support shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
To be successful in the role - you will need to be a good listener, be able to communicate clearly and effectively, be able to build rapport with the client and their family/support team, remain calm under pressure, be kind, patient and respectful.
It is also important for you to be flexible, willing to travel, open to learning new things, be adaptable, have a good understanding of the NDIS and adhere to the Code of Conduct.
You will need to have the following:
- Minimum 6 months experience working as a support worker
- Current National Police Clearance or current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Completion of COVID 19 Infection Control Training
- Up to date COVID vaccination certificate
- Have an unrestricted Drivers Licence, have your own vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
Desirable requirements:
- A relevant qualification in Mental Health, Community Services, Disability or similar

**Salary**: $35.00 - $38.50 per hour

- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
