**Procurement Advisor, Ongoing, Sydney**
The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is looking for an enthusiastic and team-orientated individual within the Corporate Services Procurement Team. The successful applicant will support DCS Corporate Procurement to provide procurement and analytical expertise to inform procurement and category management, decision-making and strategy.
This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to grow and develop in a supportive and collaborative team. The right applicant will be a team player willing to hit the ground running, who can work autonomously and as part of a team.

**About Us**
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Corporate Procurement Team which services the DCS cluster. The team sits within the Corporate Services Division of DCS, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer for DCS. Corporate Procurement has three functions within the team: Business Partnering, Sourcing, and Centre of Excellence. This role sits within the Centre of Excellence team and reports to a Senior Manager Procurement Excellence, who reports directly to the Chief Procurement Officer.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Monitor and maintain cluster-wide technology platforms including gathering data and maintaining complex contract databases to support end-to-end procurement needs
- Undertake research, cost modelling and analysis of supply markets to develop insights and proposals to improve business value and inform better decision making
- Develop and provide reports to support effective management of supplier performance and to track and report on benefits delivered
- Develop and maintain customer-centric procurement intranet site, systems, processes, templates, and self-help materials to ensure alignment of Corporate Procurement Policy & Process Framework with NSW Government requirements and support effective, efficient and compliant procurement within the cluster
- Proactively identify procurement risks and opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness and inform procurement strategies
- Support the documentation of procurement processes, decisions and contractual arrangements to conduct audit trails and reporting
