We are currently seeking experienced **Maintenance Fitter** to join our client on casual to permanent basis at their Manufacturing facility located in the **Clayton South.**
- **Afternoon Shift - between $40 - $45 per hour**

Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Manager, these roles requires a competent and experienced Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter. Main duties will include ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of all machinery during your shift and general fitting and fabrication work. Machining, milling and lathing experience, brake press and competent MIG welding skills are paramount to this role.

You will also be expected to have:

- Mechanical Maintenance experience working on a range of machinery such as pneumatics, tig/mig, and ideally in a FMCG environment.
- Previous experience in modifying machines including welding and fabricating pipes and feeders.
- Eectrical connect/disconnect certificate.
- Conducting routine machine maintenance and general working area cleaning
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Current knowledge of and ability to work in accordance with applicable WHS
- Must have flexibility and drive with an ability to troubleshoot and keep productions lines operating
