Based in the Melbourne suburb of Heidelberg we are looking for Disability Support Workers to support our NDIS participant in daily living activities and community participation. You will be working collaboratively with our client to achieve their individual goals and delivering high-quality healthcare support.

Our client is an Adult who requires assistance and support with general daily living activities, including household tasks & community access. We require empathetic and caring dedicated Disability Support Workers to work varying shifts throughout the week and some weekends. Shift duration will vary between 2 to 8 hours.
- Responsibilities and Duties: -_

Your role will involve providing respectful support to include
- Daily Living activities and routines
- Occasional help around the house
- Participate in social and community activities
- Occasional escorting to shopping and social activities
- Keep accurate records and complete progress notes
- Work within the 7 Elements of the NDIS Code of Conduct

Successful applicants may also be offered additional shifts with other clients in the Eastern and Northern Melbourne suburbs.
- MANDATORY Qualifications & Experience: -_
- Relevant Qualifications in Disability. (Min Cert. III)
- Minimum 1 years Industry working experience after qualification
- Disability experience
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS E-Learning module Certificates
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Proof of all recommended vaccinations incl Covid-19 (3 doses) and annual influenza
- Working with Children and Police Check Clearances
- Eligibility and the right to work in Australia
- Ability to provide care 1 to 1 ratio
- Experience understanding support plans
- Experience working within the NDIS framework
- Must be proficient in both written and verbal English
- Drivers Licence
