**About the role**:
We are looking for a New Metering & Networks Lead to join our Customer Operations team on a max term 12 month contract (full time) based in Melbourne, reporting to the Network & Metering Relations Manager. The primary objective of the role is to design, build, oversee and drive end to end metering operational activities.

This role is also responsible for the management of Metering Partners & Networks, which includes contract and performance management, regulatory and technical compliance and most importantly, operational safety.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Investigate and resolve metering queries and metering system performance issues in a timely manner
- Develop and facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews and reporting
- Develop collaborative relationships with Metering Partners & Networks for the provision of services
- Reviewing the operational model, processes, and work instructions for continuous improvement opportunities
- Assist in the creation and the contract management of metering contracts

**To be successful you will have**:

- Extensive experience within metering operations, metering partner, energy retailer or network business environment
- A solid understanding of contract relationship, demonstrating base commercial skills
- Proven relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels
- Proven experience of industry procedures and obligations in accordance with NER/AEMO
- Strong written and oral communication, having the ability to argue cases and counter resistance to change or getting buy in from stakeholders
