This is an opportunity to work with leaders in their field, their products and services are well known household brand names. You will be respected as the expert because you have the years of experience to effectively manage this vital function.

Whilst it is a stand alone position you will work in a team being supported by HR and Accounting professionals for those tricky areas.

**The Job**
- Take ownership of a medium sized payroll, 300 employees
- National Award interpretation and technical up-to-date knowledge is essential
- Maintain records and archiving
- Month end and year end reconciliations and Journals
- Manage payroll related payments including workers compensation
- Termination pays
- Manage superannuation compliance and administration
- Handle employee queries in a professional manner
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems essential (Micropay experience preferred)
- Other related duties
- Extensive experience in managing the **entire payroll function**:

- Possess effective communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively to solve issues and problems
- Pay attention to details with a high level of accuracy (no surprises there)
