**About the role**

Are you a qualified Refrigeration Service Technician with a passion for offering excellent customer service? This is an opportunity to join Carrier Transicold where you will benefit from employment stability, career development, as well a range of additional benefits that come with working with a market leader in transport refrigeration.

You will have mechanical aptitude along with experience in auto electrical or vehicle air-conditioning - although refrigeration experience is ideal, along with the ability to work flexible hours, including participating in an on-call roster. You will also offer excellent customer service to a range of clients in mobile and static refrigeration.

The role will involve working in the field, including routine troubleshooting, testing, repairs, service and maintenance on refrigeration units, across a number of brands.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- A high level of communication skills (oral and written)
- Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
- Ability to take ownership of problems following through to resolution
- Self-motivated individual who is proactive, professional, punctual, well presented with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised and be part of a close-knit team
- Dedicated to high quality EH&S and Ethical standards

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experience with refrigeration and chiller systems and comprehensive systems and components - those with diesel engine experience will be highly regarded
- Tertiary qualifications in Air Conditioning and refrigeration - ideal
- ARC refrigerant handling licence - preferred
- Current and valid Australian driver's licence

**We will also look at applicants with the following skills/ trades**:

- Commercial refrigeration
- Diesel fitter / mechanic with automotive air-conditioning skills - would be a bonus
- Automotive mechanic & Auto electrician
