Camberwell Junction ELC, is a well established purpose built privately owned centre in Camberwell.We are seeking an experienced lead educator to join our team. Close to shops / gym / public transport and all other amenities (onsite parking available). Centre closes at Xmas for two weeks

This position may be a room leader so experience in all aspects will be reuqired Educators children welcome to attend at a discounted rate

We are currently looking for a Childcare Educator to join our Toddler Team ( may be another room at some stage) in our boutique fully renovated centre. You will have excellent mentors in the form of our Management team to assist with all aspects of programs and writing learning stories on our App ( Kindy Hub). You will be working along with an exceptional Educational Leader and Educators

You will be energetic,creative, flexible and be able to engage with children, parents and staff. You will also demonstrate the ability to use your own initiative and have proven experience working with children. You will be looking to work in a Team where everyone treats each other with full respect. You must have the ability to program plan and write learning stories and guide your team

The successful applicant must have:

- Australian Citizenship
- An approved ACECQA qualification of Certificate III /Diploma in Children's Services or higher - please ensure your qualifications are ACECQA approved before applying
- Current WWCC, Level 2 First Aid certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and be capable of developing warm & welcoming relationships with children & families
- Knowledge of VEYLDF, NQF ,Child Safety Standards and current regulations a definite advantage
- Enthusiasm, Energy and a genuine passion for working with children and enhancing their learning
- You must know how to assist the room leader with observations and program planning
- Knowledge of Kindy Hub an advantage
- Above all - the ability to think outside the square
