Are you a customer-focused professional with a passion for the automotive industry? We are seeking a proactive and energetic **Assistant Store / Workshop Manager** to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys both customer interaction and operational management.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
As **Assistant Store Manager**, you will play a key role in the daily operations and success of our store. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and assisting customers, providing expert advice on tyres, wheels, and related services
- Preparing quotes, processing sales, and up selling relevant products & services
- Managing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly
- Coordinating stock levels, placing orders, and liaising with suppliers
- Overseeing daily workshop operations to ensure efficiency and safety
- Processing bookings and managing the scheduling of jobs
- Handling invoicing, data entry, and electronic filing
- Maintaining store cleanliness and presentation standards
- Assisting in training and mentoring staff, leading by example with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
- Assisting with tyre fitting, wheel alignments, and balancing as required
**What We’re Looking For**
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Retail or front-of-house experience (in a tyre store or automotive industry is beneficial)
- Knowledge of tyres, wheels, and automotive services (or a willingness to learn)
- Experience with stock management and supplier coordination
- A valid manual Driver’s License
- Prior team leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent customer service skills and a solutions-focused mindset
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers for order processing and data management
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- The right to live and work in Australia
