**The Role**:
As an Instructional Designer at Grill’d, you'll create engaging educational materials that enhance learning through multimedia integration. You'll combine instructional design principles with multimedia production skills to develop dynamic and interactive learning experiences for our teams.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the business to create learning content that is fun, engaging, and interactive for restaurant teams at all levels - from Team Members right through to Regional General Managers.
- Work closely with the wider People Teams and the wider business to ensure consistency between content and learning initiatives.
- Create detailed storyboards and scripts outlining the structure and flow of multimedia learning materials.
- Produce visuals such as infographics, illustrations, and diagrams to support learning content.
- Produce instructional videos, including scripting, shooting, editing, and adding special effects or animation.
- Designing and animating 2D and 3D graphics to illustrate a new menu or complex restaurant processes.
- Provide technical assistance to maintain a secure online learning environment and enhance the e-learning platform's effectiveness by regularly updating and troubleshooting.
- Create computer codes to enhance LMS integration with multimedia elements for a greater online presence and functionality.
- Develop game-based learning activities and quizzes for hands-on learning experience.

**What you’ll need**:

- Sound learning design skills, ideally with experience within the hospitality, retail, event, leisure, or equivalent industry.
- Expertise in multimedia software tools e.g., Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition, Camtasia) or equivalent and e-learning tools e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate.
- Experience integrating multimedia content into Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Ability to develop responsive and accessible web-based learning resources across different devices and platforms.
- Knowledge of instructional design models and learning theories.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Facilitation skills desirable but not essential.
