
Front Desk Receptionist

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Guest Reception**: Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- **Check-In/Check-Out**: Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs. Verify guest information, handle payments, and ensure a smooth transition for arriving and departing guests.
- **Reservation Management**: Manage room bookings and reservations using the hotel’s property management system. Assist with reservation modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
- **Customer Service**: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally. Resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction and enhance their stay experience.
- **Communication**: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve any issues.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and payments. Prepare and process reports as needed.
- **Safety and Security**: Ensure the safety and security of guests by following hotel procedures and protocols. Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- **Upselling**: Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience and drive additional revenue.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant hospitality or business certification is a plus.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred.
- **Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- **Attributes**: Professional appearance, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $21.79 - $39.11 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
