**About the role

Assist in the Establishment, cultivation and maintenance and upkeep of the gardens and grounds of the hospital premises, to provide a safe aesthetically pleasing environment for the enjoyment of patients, general public and staff.

About you

Maintain and develop the lawns, trees, shrubs, gardens and containerised plants to ensure a pleasant and safe hospital grounds environment
Operate and service a range of horticultural equipment, machinery and hand tools, not performed by other trade occupations.
Perform cleaning duties to associated grounds maintenance items/facilities and/or specified area of health care facility and undertake cleaning of above ground drains.
Maintain work areas in a clean and safe condition whilst performing simple and routine instructions that comply with safe work practices.
