Brisbane, Australia Walkabout Gardening Services Full time

Walkabout Gardening Services is searching for a competent and reliable gardener on a casual basis. You will be responsible for all general maintenance tasks for our clients related to the garden including mowing, hedge trimming, whipper snipping, weeding, blowing, spraying, green waste removal and servicing garden machinery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.
- Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control and leaf raking.
- Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such as mowers, hedge trimmers, whipper snippers and blowers.
- Service all garden equipment and machinery.
- Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.

**Requirements**:

- MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE.
- Ability to handle a range of horticultural machinery and powered hand tools.
- Basic knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.
- Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation.

**Job Types**: Casual, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- No weekends
- On call

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Gardening: 1 year (preferred)
