**Grand Gardens Brisbane** is seeking an experienced Gardener. Working closely with our Supervisor on a daily basis you will be required to perform the following tasks:

- Pruning/hedging as required
- Garden edging and mowing
- Checking the health of plants by identifying any pests or diseases and controlling them
- Maintaining high levels of presentation of customer gardens
- Digging and planting as required
- Weeding as required
- Using machinery such as lawn mowers, rotovators and hedge trimmers
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
- Liaise and work with customers as required
- Communicate customer issues with your supervisor
- Abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures as directed by your supervisor

Ideally you will have a horticultural qualification and some experience working in the field. To be successful in this role you will be required to have a “can do attitude” and a high level of attention to detail. You will need a current Australian Drivers license.

The structure of the role will be:

- Casual with an option to transition to a permanent role for a successful applicant
- Award rates in accordance with the Gardening and Landscaping award
- Honesty and reliability
- A keen and dedicated interest in being a key player in the success of a small business

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Gardening: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
