We're on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-oriented S&D Manager to join our team. This isn't your typical 9-5 gig. You'll be leading our talented team, managing the rhythm of our warehouse operations, and ensuring our projects hit their mark every time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Supply Chain Management**: Develop and implement strategies to optimise the supply chain, monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels, identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- **Distribution Planning**:Plan and coordinate the distribution of products and services to customers, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Work together with logistics partners and carriers to ensure the smooth transportation and receipt of goods.
- **Performance Analysis**:Analyse supply chain and distribution data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and transportation costs, and develop reports to communicate insights to stakeholders. Continuously review processes and procedures to identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
- **Team leadership**:Lead and motivate the team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Clean equipment and return it to their respective warehouse locations within the required turnaround time.
- **Meet Deadlines**:Ensure the timely and high-quality completion of all supervisory tasks related to the Supply and Distribution team.
- **Superior Communication**: Maintain effective communication with both internal teams and external customers.
- **WHS**: Adhere to and enforce the company's policies and Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.

**Primary Duties**
- Report directly to the WM and senior managers.
- Coordinate with the WM regarding daily and weekly staffing needs.
- Prepare and present weekly reports to the WM.
- Communicate with Account Managers (Sales) about upcoming availability and inventory levels as needed.
- Conduct daily briefings with the supply and distribution team to discuss the day's plan and address any issues.
- Ensure all returns are scanned and checked back into the resource planning system.
- Notify the WM or Account Manager immediately about any missing or damaged equipment.
- Safely load and unload vehicles as required.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks within the warehouse.
- Plan daily or weekly tasks with the WM and other departments as needed, ensuring all warehouse team members are engaged and productive.
- Monitor warehouse staff performance for appraisals.
- Conduct quality checks on equipment.
- Manage warehouse assets and stock controls, assist in stocktakes, and generate barcode labels for existing equipment.
- Maintain a tidy, hazard-free, and organised warehouse.
- Provide training and mentorship to warehouse team members.
- Secure the premises when you leave.
- Assist the WM in managing, implementing, and updating the company’s WHS policies.

**Required Skills & Attitude**
- Exceptional IT skills with experience using ERPs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of work health and safety.
- Proven ability to delegate tasks effectively and ensure directives are competently followed.
- Ability to add value to peers by acting as a coach or mentor.
- Extensive knowledge of Megadeck staging systems and a good understanding of the full range of Megadeck equipment.
- High attention to detail and process-oriented.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

- Botany, NSW 2019: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
