About the role

The Service Manager is responsible for running one of Sunnyfield’s Shared Living home and leading a team of up to (20) Community Support Workers. The Shared Living home provides a safe and supportive home environment for three clients with intellectual disability who have a range of complex support needs. The Service Manager at the Lindsay Street actively supporting the clients n their home and community by delivering Person Centred Active Support and promoting quality of life and skills for life. The role of the Service Manager has the following areas of responsibility:

- Person lead active support and a passion for practice leadership
- A comprehensive understanding of behaviour management and support
- Human Rights approach to person centred practices
- Understanding of good management practices and a multi-disciplinary approach to client supports needs
- Financial and administrative management

About You:

- Experienced health or human services manager
- Passion for making a positive difference and working with people with a disability
- A team player who can operate under competing pressures
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise and use initiative, and communicate in writing and verbally well
