**The Opportunity**
An opportunity to lead and oversee operations across our Sydney Regional Distribution Centre customer network and operations servicing our partners.

Your role is to optimise operational performance across the key pillars of safety, service, people and value to create a world class supply chain that is described as the best and safest place to work. You role will be responsible for all operations including direct leadership of the Operations Managers. while ensuring delivery in full, on time and error free.

**Responsibilities include**
- Lead people strategies and continuous improvement initiatives independently and in support of network standardisation or those that support store friendly and efficient transport deliveries, engagement and value within the DC operation
- Create an environment of shared leadership within the SRDC Operations team in delivering business results focused on customer satisfaction, team engagement and team development
- Drive accountability within the DC operation, ensure that the elements of Supply Chain culture are embedded at all levels
- Sponsor and lead change initiatives within the DC, including partnering with support functions throughout Supply Chain and other business units in the Woolworths Group
- Liaise with key contacts for Food & Endeavour Drinks Groups to both seek and provide feedback and identify opportunities for the DC to continuously improve service
- Manage 3PL’s to ensure service levels and cost are optimised

**Who would be set up for success in the role**
- Supply chain or manufacturing senior leadership where you have led a DC in an FMCG environment
- Proven ability to inspire, coach, guide and develop leaders of leaders
- Industrial Relations Experience where you have demonstrated strong stakeholder management, influencing and networking skills
- Proven capability in delivering high-quality outputs under pressure and in fast turnaround time
- The ability to clearly communicate complex information to communication style to stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to analyses information to identify, manage and mitigate risks; identifies the root causes of risks and escalates issues where required
