Child care centre manager (2IC)

Your role
Diploma in Children's services (ACECQA approved)
Hold a current First Aid, child protection, WWCC, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
Shift work between 7.00am and 6.00pm
**Responsibilities**:
Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team
Engage and supervise the children at all times
Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members
Directing and supervising Child Carers in providing care and supervision for young children
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
Ensuring the centre is a safe area for children, staff and visitors
Comply with National Quality Standards and the service policies and procedures
Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
Liaise with the service's director and ensure the service is complying with the national quality documents and laws and regulations.Training and mentoring educators
Ensure processes are in place for the smooth operation of the service
Maintaining records and accounts for the centre
Recruiting staff and coordinating professional development

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
