Regular/ongoing shifts with regular clients.

We have clients currently awaiting onboarding & ready to commence when new suitable support worker commences employment.

The successful support worker will begin with 1 client and build their client-base **after** they complete onboarding.

The successful support worker **must **be prepared to perform the set tasks as set out below.

NDIS and Aged Care experience is highly regarded.

We are an ethical and fast growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services across the scenic South Coast, extending from North Nowra/Bomaderry to Lake Tabourie, covering the beautiful Shoalhaven region.

We are seeking Casual Support Workers to assist with the provision of high-quality exceptional care to a range of fantastic clients and participants in various towns within the Shoalhaven.

Currently, we are focusing on expanding our team in Nowra and surrounding suburbs.

Our Support Workers are home-based and utilise a mobile work model (with electronic support for administration), attracting a travel reimbursement and ongoing training opportunities, appropriate to client need.

There is scope for our support staff to work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.

All Support Workers are paid according to the SCHADS award and have the ability to build their personal client-base according to what their own circumstances/priorities.

**Main responsibilities and activities may include (support worker MUST be prepared to complete tasks below if required)**:

- Assistance with care in the home (bathing, toileting, mobility)
- Getting out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments (own vehicle essential)
- Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
- Assistance with medications
- Light administrative duties (record maintenance, reporting)

**Requirements**:

- A genuine passion to work alongside participants/the elderly and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives (essential)
- Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (online module to be completed prior to start date)
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field (preferred)
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (preferred but **not** essential)
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances (essential)
- Resilience and compassion (essential)
- Current First Aid certificate (current or enrolled in)
- Current CPR certificate (current or enrolled in)
- Current National Police check (essential)
- Current NSW Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle (essential)
- The right to work in Australia (essential)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour
