Job Details:
The System Security Officer assists and supports the implementation of security solutions. This includes the ongoing assessment and tracking of adherence to security guidelines across the enterprise computing environment. This role will require someone with a background in information technology and a proven ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines..

Role Responsibilities:

- Administer computing devices/systems that enforce security policies and audit controls in Windows environment
- Ensures the security and installation of simulation systems federation and integration in an event/activity environment
- Directly oversees security of configuration of networks
- Manages security keying material for encryption devices and keys those devices
- Support the implementation of technical solutions to contractual requirements in addition to ISO 27001 and 27002
- Assist in responses to external audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
- Resolve routine problems with direction from Senior Security Engineers
- Ensure security document is updated and current
- Monitor security software and provide reporting as required

About You:

- University degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification; or significant professional experience
- Minimum two years’ experience in a security domain
- Experience with ITIL service management practices and the ITIL service design
- Experience analysing event logs
- Minimum NV1 Security Clearance required
